View Full Version : Weekend Retreat Into The Jungle Anyone?
I'm bored of living and working in KL. The boring scenery and mundate job that I have, although it pays my bills, really gets to me. Do you have the same feeling?
I came across this advert in Cuti2 Malaysia and they're having an adventure package to Endau Rompin. It's a 3D 2N thingy, perfect for a long weekend break. You can also treat it as a photo expedition.
Click here for more details (http://www.cuti.com.my/tour/info.php3?id=222&tour=3D2N+Taman+Negara+Endau+Rompin)
I'm thinking of going, but it'll be great if I can have some company going with me. Granted, it's not up to DA's adventure standards, but at less than the price of a second hand manual focus lens, it's a good compromise me thinks. So any takers?
:)

Organise it ourselves? Who's gonna volunteer? I think it's more convenient to book a package, as it may come up to about the same (or slightly cheaper only) as going by ourselves.
I'm thinking of going in mid September latest. Soonest could be as early as 2 weeks from now...

How about a Lowepro Dryzone 200. It's totally waterproof, submergeable and costs only RM1000.

trekking in to kemensah jungle.
There are 3 beutiful waterfalls in there. I've been there. You will facinate that there are such nice places very near to KL.
If for beginner (or first timer into trekking), this is a good trip to go before you go to a more challenging places. ... beginner lesson... Jungle Trekking 101.
I can arrange for a trip there. Even I can arrange for a overnight there at a chalet where a river runs tru it! The chalet also offer BBQ while busking at night with the opertor of the chalet.
