Hi, I am in Penang until Monday. Any Penang members here want to meet up for teh tarik.....say on Sat. or Sunday plus a photo outing?

Sorry guys.. haven't been checking post these few days.. I am from Penang.. call me at 016-2848667 when you have the time to meet up. I am still not sure I will be available during this weekend.. so, will try to arrange one if possible.

Hi, have fixed for the weekend. Hiking up Penang Hill and street shoot of the old streets in penang...no time to meet unless you want to join me..... :lol: :lol: :lol: :ph34r:

If the time is right.. I can go up to Penang Hill with you... I know 4 different trails hiking up to Penang hills.. used to hike up every weekend few months back.. Just in case you are with someone.. you can cosider those trails and don't take the road.

You can either start at Youth Park, Moon Gate, Botanical Garden's Lily Pond or the Botanical Garden somewhere near the Taman Bunga Kertas. Take note that you have to spare total of 4 to 5 hours for return if you care considering taking photographs as normal hike may take 1 to 1.5 hours without stopping ( For normal speed )

If you happen to reach the summit.. don't forget to continue walking to the Kenopy Walk.. you can get some good shots along the way as there are some cottages up their.. and not to mention about the kenopy walk may be a good place to take abstract shot... depends on your creative. ( I can't take shots there as i scare of height ) Note that the kenopy walk is free and will close at 5pm. )

I will be going for hiking on Sunday Evening.. at Penang hill but may not go all the way up to the summit. Feel free to call me if you need to.

Actually I have been to most of the trails described including the ayer itam trail.....Was a scout during my school days.....upteen years ago.

Yeah, just when to see some classic cameras at some shops. Maybe catch up with you the next trip. :lol: :lol: :lol: :ph34r:
