I would like to suggest for a jungle trekking outing to kemensah jungle.

There are 3 beutiful waterfalls in there. I've been there. I were facinated that there are such nice places very near to KL.

If for beginner (or first timer into trekking), this is a good trip to go before you go to a more challenging places. ... beginner lesson... Jungle Trekking 101. Don't worry, I can arrange for trekking guide if you guys scared of getting lost in the jungle.

I can arrange for a trip there. Its only a day trip.

However, I can arrange for a overnight stay there at a chalet where a river runs tru it! The chalet also offer BBQ while busking at night with the opertor of the chalet.

Any one game for it ? or have any idea to make the outing more fun.

need feedback from u all, before we can decide on which date to go.

location is somewhere behind zoo negara. we have to drive about 10/15 min further up. trekking will take about 30 min walking before we reach the first waterfall.

THe trail is ok. I've seen ppl bring kids along. Even groups of mountainbikers always do their outing trip there.

If the group can confirm on the date & time and it suits me fine, i won't mind to pickup PM members at any LRT station nearby kemensah. :)

Compare to Templar park, how good is it? If it's not another Templar park like place, I am probably game if the dates are right.

I've actually ridden there on my mountain bike. If it's during the raining season, just watch out for leeches! Otherwise the trail is fine for walking, but a bit rough for cycling. The waterfall is nice though, and I think you should bring some food there also (but always remember not to leave any trail behind).

This kemensah is also a public place. but unlike Templer park this place is a bit inside the jungle. this place normally not flooded with visitors during week end like templer. access is not that easy.

There are 3 saperate waterfalls inside that jungle. Public, like those mountainbikers will normally go to the the first waterfall, called 'sofea jane' waterfall.

But the other two are quite 'peaceful'. THe water are very fresh and cooling.
