Pm Gets A Mention In Grain Magazine

The July edition of Grain magazine, a Singaporean based publication concentrating on the Asian aspects of photography, ran a short article on Photo Malaysia (pp.12). Read it in the latest issue...

They initially did an article on us in their first issue. When we went to the dedicated server in May, I notified their editorial staff (eventually...they seem to be changing staff more often then I change pants) and sent them a short "press statement" on the move to the dedicated server plus the other new things that went with it (new forums, more free gallery space, etc...). I would be interested in what they wrote...anyone have a scanner and a copy og Grain? :)

GRAIN is now available in MPH bookstore in Malaysia. Will take a look at the mag when I visit MPH again. If good...then I will support them a buy a copy :P

:eh?: Err...I am??? All I did was contact the editor and send a "press statement". It wasn't even an article.

Oh well, those folks never even sent me a copy of issue #1 which they had promised too multiple times <_<

I just bought the 'latest' issue, July 2004, distribution in malaysia seems to be late by one month. This is the issue where PM got mentioned. Bought it for RM12.

Apart from MPH, i have also seen it in Kinokuniya.

Quite enjoy the magazine, and it comes in a more 'square-ish' size than normal magazine. Overall, nice paper quality, nice articles, nice photos too of coz :thumbsup:

Interesting...in the first paragraph he just slightly rewrites the first paragraph of the statement I gave him. Then he quotes the rest of the statement directly. Must be nice to have a job like that :rotfl:
