Depends, when will u be there. If during merdeka, might as well shoot merdeka parade as kuantan will be hosting this year merdeka.

Or go to pandan waterfall, panching caves, etc. or if u at the beach, u can shoot sunrise, ppl, sea and Babes. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Staying at Swiss garden, balok beach..2 Nights
Yeah, that's why can't travel too far away..as I've done some research, some places are very very far away from the beach n deep in Pahang.

Since it's east coast, I've thought of taking photos of fisherman going out to fish..when I was in Ipoh, there was this Ipoh Photography club..they went for trips to east coast..thailand..if i'm not mistaken, to capture shots of fisherman going out to sea..n when they came back with the catch..that time I was too young to join, budak sekolah..some more no equipment..

won't be going during Merdeka..hahaa..dun want to get stuck in the jam. highway..bla bla..everyday jam dah takut n things are more expensive during that time..

I will definetely try to get some butt shots..hahaa..if there's any "targets" around..hav to get close la, coz i tak ada zoom lense yang power...must be careful also..else i wlill kena butt kick b4 i get the butt shot..hahahaahhaa

When I was growing up in Beserah (Kampung Tuan or Kg Seberang) they used to haul up ikan bilis using big huge waterbuffaloes at the beach ... quite festive really ... not sure whether they still do this or not, perhaps they still do on the account of tourist etc. They don't work on Fridays I was told ... and if there's a death in the fishing community.

There's also keropok lekor stalls along the trunk road ... could be a possibility for a good rural portrait. These days along the coast almost everybody is in the tourist trade (guides, selling t-shirts & trinkets, seafood business etc) ... not sure what you'll find.
