Hi! Looking for a film scanner. Any recommended brands and price? Will it be cheaper in Singapore?

Try the Canoscan 9900F, it is a flatbed that does films up to 5 x 4. Read some good reviews on it too.

Are you looking for a flatbed with film scanning capability, or a dedicated film scanner (e.g. Nikon Coolscan 5000)?
A dedicated one would be better - less dust problem, better scanning resolution, but is more expensive. I think around the RM2k region and above.
For flatbed, I've played around with a Canon CanoScan 5200F, for less than RM800 you get a pretty decent 35mm 2400dpi (optical) scanner that does six negatives or five mounted slides at a time.
