I really don't understand why people wants to steal these things. It's the equivalent of stealing rare racing cars.
The numbers produced very low and each unit has digital records of owners and history, which makes them hard to resell. Plus the cameras can only be serviced and repaired at their HQ service centre. And they are expensive to service too!
Seriously, if there's anythng you want to steal, go and target Japanese cameras. Common as muck.
They steal and use the part to make transformer robot.
