    I had received the package containing my newly bought old rangefinder camera this morning.. and when I arrived home from work i took out the lighting and all and started shooting the camera.. kinda like a product shoot... here's the results..

                        No problem with the focusing screen.. you just need to keep turning the focus ring to get the images to line up.. go from end to end and you'll see the 'shadow' going from one side to the other... U'll get the hang of it after a while..

                          maybe your combo is 1 3V CR123 lithium + 2 1.5V LR44 alkaline.

                          my combo is 4 LR44, giving out roughly the same voltage as yours. Not sure on the battery discharge curve. Original 5.6V mercury battery for this camera has a constant voltage throughout its life, giving a consistent exposure.

                            correct... will it be a problem in the long run?? anyway could we do an outing of yashica users somewhere??

                              I use that combo too. Bought my GTN 35 from cash converter for RM50. The shop assistant told me "Bang, kamera ni takleh pakai dah. Untuk display ajer"
