    Try the free antivirus program from Sophos. I've been using it for over 2 years on Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion OS X without any problems. Too many crooks out there targeting Mac OS X nowadays.

      Still relatively few. I'm on Mac a year and a half now. In this kind of time I'd normally have detected and or killed several hundred viruses n' such on Windows. So far, nothing has hit my Mac (touch wood).

        I use both systems but the viruses I get on my Windows machine is virtually as little as on the iMac. It strongly depends on your browsing and computer behaviour. But for non-computer geeks it is better safe than to be sorry.
