    Hi,

Like to know whether there is a photography association in Malaysia. If so, appreciate the link.

Tried Goggle and found WPJA. Not the one I am looking for.

    Thanks.

    Re: Photography Association in Malaysia

There are a few registered photography association in Malaysia. There are Photography Society of Malaysia, Photographic Society Petaling Jaya, Foto Imej Perak, Shashin Photo Club of Kuala Lumpur to name a few.

Try looking in the telephone directory apart from the internet.

Apart from the association, there are numerous photography forum like Photo Malaysia (of which U R in right now), Lensa Malaysia, Shutter Asia etc. of which you may registered as a member.

    Hope that helps.

Edit : Maybe this may helps as well ----> http://www.mycen.com.my/malaysia/photography.html

You can try www.psmgallery.com for Photographic Society of Malaysia which has a 51 years of history in Malaysia ie. One year older than Malaysia.

          Good luck.

                Teng Wei,

As a member of PSM, hope that can enlighten me on code of ethics and conduct for photographer. The general do's and don'ts. I am taking up photography as a hobby and I want to do it right, not to infringe on others' privacy, rights, etc.

                Thanks.

Thank you for your interest in our Society.

As long as you're not into anything that against the Law of the land in Malaysia, such as promote nudity and spike any racial unity; you're most welcome.

You don't even need to have a camera to join us as a member. Private and personnal rights are generally not hold up very strongly in Common Wealth countries, unlike America.

Please visit our website on membership section to find out more, or join us in the forum.

                  Cheers.
