Agreed with Clipper79. Put them into book. The elements are superbly captured: the struggle, drudgery, helplessness, exploitation and irony-the best in the WORLD but workers get only RM17 per day. That's not what hassy worker get for being best (or near it) in the world. More in the series pls
heheheeeee... no more, these are the selected one, the rest are crap!
Re: Reminiscence Kuala Sepetang Charcoal Factory 2010
This one even better than the Pudu series bro which I think is quite superb already..
Maybe because of the human elements and the narrations stir up people's emotion even more..
Takleh kata apa dah..Mmg terbaekk!!
I find the square format images stronger overall than the rectangular format. I love the 4th picture in "Loading the Logs". The only rectangular format picture I really like is the first in the "Taking a Break" section.
On the suggestions to do a book/exhibition, I'd propose you go there a few times to build a deeper perspective. It's not far away and more time spent on a project like this would be invaluable.
thanxs nick, yup, i do believe visiting again the place would give more visual depths and the tricky part was, we were pacing up with whats going on over there, when they work, they do it quickly and while I was shooting, at the back of my mind was already thinking what next coz I can see another group of people doing other stuffs which is If I dont do it quickly, I'm gonna miss that one. Vice versa. Thanxs again
