Honestly, I dunno whether I should pursue this macro journey. I'm still a bit dizzy and nauseous (almost 12 hrs after). But I guess the blame is entirely mine. Right after having my lunch, I straight away grabbed the camera and start searching for the subjects. Maybe I'll try again next time on empty stomach. Haha. Anyway, thanks Sam!
Walauwei.. 1st time oredi get to shoot the mayfly.. So envy and so nice shots
Withdrawal syndrome .. Ha ha .. Nice one..!!!
So that dragonfly is called mayfly. Hehe.... I was lucky perhaps. I found it on an air-cond compressor. At first I thought it was some dirt or something. I managed to get 2 snaps before it flew away. Thanks for checking bro!
Great shots....very very impressive esp for a first timer. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Kurt. I gotta know about you from my 'sifu' who happened to be one of your 'students', Rizal Ismail aka Rizalis. He's my colleague and he poisoned me to venture into photography. I won't be a able the get the shots without his guidance. Thanks again!
I agree. You should look at my first attempt LOL this is fantastic
LOL. I guess it's a combo of right equipment + technique. Basic rules apply, it's just natural for us photographers to get the focus right and that's the hardest part dealing these tiny lil' creatures. Thank you for checking out!
WOW you're this good only at your first attempt... and imagine you get a very nice pictures from only 2 snap... keep shooting!!!
First attempt at macro, doesn't necessarily mean I only snapped twice. Hehe.... For the jumper, I managed to get 2 shots before it ran away. As for the mayfly, that's the only shot and I was lucky to nail it. Thanks anyway!
