  • which DSLR has option to not show the focus points?

    continuing on the question.
want to do a live feed using DSLR, but do not want the focus square etc showing.
i know the focus point is a guide, and when recorded does not show, but yea, this is for a live feed.
so any idea which body in the market now has option to not show?

    Hi,

The Pentax K-x does not have the red focus point by default.

very good question actually. we too at one time was considering to use our canon dslr for video live feed but had to abandon the plan as the is no way to turn off the overlays.

is that my only option right now? that's a pretty sad market.

i hear rumours that the soon to be released 7d mk2 has that option, but guess just have to wait and see.
