    Hi all!..

    A friend of mine had a very bad day dealing with jln ipoh's glamorous Digicolor Photoshop. Below are his comments on service at the shop, taken from his e-mail to me.

    I went to the shop this afternoon to collect my Magazine Album, which i sent for printing/processing before CNY. It supposed to ready by 3/3/07 but was drag until today, as there was some printing error, that is according to someone that picks up the phone when i call the shop to ask the status of my magazine. When i go there, i was in shock to find out that my magazine album is still not ready. This is my 4th time having problem with Digicolor out of 5 transaction. I wonder why people says this is a great shop?

    A photographer friend of my had also had a bad experience at Digicolor recently.

    He bought a 3rd party battery grip for his D700 and the camera would shutdown intermittently during use. he took it back within 3 days to have it replaced and Digicolor replaced with another unit with the disclaimer that this is 'normal' for a 3rd party product. The replacement grip had the same problem and the photographer took it back within the week. The lady boss at Digicolor stated that they had no more replacement stock and they do no warrantee or would refund the faulty product. The photographer is stuck with a completely useless battery grip.

    Having related the above, I would still go to Digicolor to pick up simple accessories (e.g. diffusers, lens caps, lens shades etc), however I would be vary about buying their 3rd party electronic products (e.g. LED light, battery grips, triggers) as they do not provide any guarantees on their electronic products. Especially is you buying a made in china product the quality is usually very inconsistent and unpredictable.

    There try to make a living. I agree things are cheap but what you pay and the end what you get. I experience it before

    hey guys, if digicolor sells good s from china, how about the camera's? i mean, is there a chance that the DSLR's are faulty? i'm thinking of buying one. just wondering.

    Cheap is good but good can't be cheap.

    Aiyooo... proton cars also got 20 QC stickers lor... but still.....

    Want branded good... complain expensive... someone give alternative with cheap china goods.... also complain... become god also susah man!

    This is a world-wide phenomena.... "let the buyer beware" heard of this before?

    i was there yesterday ... and overhear that they are having problem with the printer

    anyway just make sure u check your stuff when u buy there lo... all make in china no QC one even got a QC sticker also u have to check but like other say its cheap...... never try the printer before so no comment on that

    just my 2cens

    I guess when you come across a shop selling items at cheap or moderate prices, you just have to grin and bear with things on some occasions.
