I am also used to be Fuji S602 then upgrade to S9500. however the S9500 put me down due to its poor sharpness, soft image & extremely slow autofocus in indoor.
before i buy s9500, i thought the ISO1600 as good as Fuji F10, however the ISO 1600 is unacceptable compare to F10.
less than 2 months, i sell it off and upgraded to Nikon D70s.
Therefore, Dont put high expectation on S9500
