I have been using both today, and very impressed with both. Both cameras do things a bit differently.

Only for Japanese market. Found one on eBay with a slight different in price inclusive shipping. Check it out. I didn't buy it because I wouldn't want to learn Japanese at this point of y life

The Panasonic GF1 stock came and it was gone in one day here in Singapore.

I bought mine at S$1150(RM2794), Panasonic GF1 with the 14-45mm kit lens, free gifts of a Panasonic bag and 8GB SDHC card.

    1. This is the free gift Panasonic bag.

    2. Stowing the Panasonic GF1 with 14-45mm kit lens into the bag.

Testing and evaluating the Panasonic GF1 with the 14-45mm kit lens, I'm impressed with the lightweight and good AF.

Wow!, didn't know that this camera can produce so great image quality... How does it compare to those DSLR like D300s, Sony alfa 230 etc...?

I think you can get a GF-1 for about RM2700 with kit lens.

It is great! I like the quality of good made in japan, it really worth the money we pay for... BTW, do you know which shop in KL sell it at the most reasonable price? and normally what is included inside the package?

Some forum member mentioned Panasonic provide 2+1 years warranty, what does it mean? Does it mean first two years warranty are given FOC and the third year need to add some money in order to entitle for?
