how to know the "dead pixel" hoh? and, more than 2%?![]()
Test for dead pixels : Left lens-cap on, set camera to exposure 30 seconds black-out image at varies ISO settings.
Fix for dead Pixels : Set camera to perform sensor cleaning mode manually (not auto) for one minute. You only execute the function, not exactly performing the whole sensor cleaning procedure.
Magically, the sensor cleaning task should shake the stuck pixels off, if not, repeat couple more times until it does. Otherwise, time to call the technical support.

I just noticed that the JPGs produced by 60D has a DPI of 72. Isn't that all Canon camera has a 180DPI ?
Just got my 60d. The model is selling fast with a number of shops running out of stock. Downloaded the manual from the canon website in PDF format into my IPhone using IBooks apps and reading it on the go n whenever I am free...324 pages long!
Hi guys,
I'm new here. Need a piece of advice as I'm hesitating to choose between kit lens 18-135 or kit lens 18-200. My plan is to play with kit lens first then only see which lens I want to buy next. Pros and cons between these 2 lenses please?
Thanks!
It also depends on what range you like to shoot. If you shoot a lot between 100mm and 200mm, then buying the 18-135. If you only rarely shoot in that range, you'd end up paying extra for a range you don't really use, if you buy the 18-200.
18-135 : a balanced, allround lens
18-200 : extra Zoom and extra cost
The 18-200 has a great range but it is slow with it's f/5.6 max aperture.
longest zoom need wider f/stop... try 70-200mm f/2.8 but yes.. it's more expansive!![]()
any update price for 60d?? me WTB
Thanks for your kind reply. I think I would go for 18-200 then, as the funding to go 70-200 f/2.8 is kind of far as for now. Anyway, that 70-200 is one of my dream, I love wildlife shooting. So maybe by the time I'm able to get 70-200, only I put this 18-200 to rest. Thanks again.
Hai..just got my 60D with 18-200 lens..
