The following photographs were taken at Berjaya Time Square where the quarterfinals were played, all the way to the finals.

World champion Nicol David, all smiles after winning her QF game.

Qualifier Joey Chan (Hong Kong) created some upsets along the way to reach the QF, but stopped by Madeline Perry (Ireland) at this stage. Ms Perry ended this tournament as runner-up.

Blitzerz cheerleaders performed between the games.

Mohamed El Shobagy (Egypt) looks the wrong way searching for Azlan Iskandar (Malaysia) in this Men's SF match.

Mohamed El Shabagy loses grip on his racket, but still won comfortably in his SF match against Azlan Iskandar.

Top seed Karim Darwish of Egypt controls front court in this semifinal match against Gregoire Marche of France. Karim won this SF match and eventually became the tournament champion.

This is the view from the behind the front of the court. Astro Arena provided life coverage. The clear transparent glass is the open port for photographers and videographers.
