1 - battery life.. from my experience used nissin for about a year, it only can last for max 200 shoot for 4 pcs of fresh eneloope rechargeable batt and normally i will bring 2 sets of battery for a job.. now 4 pcs of battery can cover me for 2 job with no prob at all...
2 - cycle time - its take more time to cycle after a shoot.. its a wasting time if u are doing a job.. might be u will miss the moment that is very important during that cycle.. its hapends to me
if possible, try to get help from ur friend that used nissin n canon 580EXII.. compare it.. then u will notice it..
is compare with nikon and canon or sony for sure branded is better for the amount of $$$ you pay for. If you compare with other brand like yong nuo, metz, cybertik, they have pros and cons. It depend on personal preference.
