So what will the itinerary be like? Since Canon is the main sponsor I'm sure there will be a special session allocated to them for some marketing. And what kind of gifts will they be sponsoring?

Ok folks, looks like April 14th is coming up very fast so please TAKE note of the venue change. I have been extremely busy trying to reply to hundreds of PM members who are so eager to join in. So far there a lot of members joining the April 14th event. I will try my best to attend to as many members as I can to help them out in shooting difficulties. I would like all of you to try to take the image in your mind first before setting out and taking a bunch of snap shots. If you can come back with just 1 good image that would be great. This is not a race, so take your time and think before you shoot. Kind of figure out where you want to go and study the area. Now here is how I go about shooting a so called street scene, one take into account where you are such what country your in and then city. This helps the viewer identify where the image was taken. Then compose the image so it tells a small story in one frame. I like to do straight on shots not angle shots, this to me indicates fear and intimidation. Thus it takes time to break the ice to get the shot you want. Of course you need to know what you want first. Try to keep the images in color not black and white I'll save that for another outing. This is street photography so I like to encompass as much as I can in the frame so think about that. Ok if you have any questions please PM me. See you guys Saturday and don't be late. Thanks

According to the news, the Anti - PTPTN rally will be at Dataran Merdeka - 2.00pm.
Probably we will get more news by Friday.

Hi Guys,

Thank you for informing us of the Demonstration at Dataran Merdeka on the same day at 2pm. We find that there is a risk the police may lock down the area very early in the morning and we may end up disappointed. We have found a safer place as an alternative. Would appreciate if you can help us inform all your friends who are coming for this walkabout of the new location.

The new location is the Old KTM Building (now KTM Komuter Station). Meet on the platform at 8am. The location map is below. The nearest LRT stop is Pasar Seni.

take the LRT from Setiawangsa to Pasar Seni, and then go to KL Komuter on foot..should have a bridge/pedestrian crossing to there if I recall correctly..
