but the last time i went to boeing in sg wang to ask for D70s, they gimme stupid answer tht D70s got problem, so they dun restock for it... buy another brand wo... tht's the only place i heard such thing, not even from any D70s users about such matter!!!

Me too, just got my Lowepro slingshot 100AW in singapore for only sin$70 ( MYR 158, not during sales period ) and when I saw the same item in a foto shop in Mid Valley ( forgot the name) with the price tag MYR 425 !!! It's just CRAZY pricing and I really feel sad about how Malaysian doing business....
I also bought a tripod last year, cheap one, brandless, for only MYR 35 ( I know the Manager of the shop ). Then I walk to another shop in the same shopping mall and saw the same tripod I just bought priced at MYR 169 !!!
It happened all the time... Just wonder WHY they want to over price the item Soooooo much?

I think generally Malaysian retailers of photographic eqmt have this "take-it-or-leave-it" attitude. Especially the ones at shopping centres where they prefer to concentrate on ripping off tourists. Local customers are a pest to them. It's sad but the only way we can protest is to boycott them, do your research by asking around in forums like these etc.

It is on the junction of Jalan Landak and Jalan 1/77C (off Jalan Pudu), north east of Pudu LRT station.

If you go along Jalan Pudu, coming from Jalan Imbi, take the second left turn after a petrol station to get on to Jalan 1/77C (what a stupid name for a road). If you see a Tiara Inn Hotel on your left it means you have just missed the 1/77C turning.

- From Jalan Tun Razak, after RHB Bank keep left, head 12oclock on a messy round-about (Kampung Pandan)

- There's a Petronas on your left and a mosque on your right (side of X-junction)

- Turn right to Jln Pasar. At Jln Pasar, turn right on first junction (you can spot RHB Bank on your right before turning)

- After turning, RHB on your left, take left turn on first junction

- Go straight till end, turn right, Pudu Plaza is about 250m on your right

that's why I feel so sad about Malaysian retailers' intensions in ripping off tourist. I went to Singapore as a tourist but they sell all same price to everbody including me. These kind of attitude is spoiling Malaysia image badly. That's why lotz of overseas company pullling out from malaysia market, and love doing business with Sinagaporian rather than Malaysian and we have to bare the consiquences of buying expensive stuff here
One funny thing is I found a certificate of " Fair Price Shop " awarded by goverment was displayed beside all those "Amazing" price tag... Is that a joke? Fair price of marking up 300% of the cost?
