canon 24 - 70 F2.8 L feedback

Hi Guys - Just wondering all the canon 24 - 70 f2.8 user out there. do you guys have any problem with this lenses? coz I did some search in the net and saw ppl complaint about problem they faced.

could you be specific what problem you refer to ? no lens is 100%, sure will have some weak point at certain extend...

I had this before when I was using Canon, I never had any problem. No issues at all. In fact one of my favorites.

As g88 pointed out, give the specific issue.

Bought mine from my friend and been using for 2 years and I have no problem at all...
Not quite sure if I am required to print super large poster as I am not required to do so...

I've been using the 24-70 2.8L and the older brother 28-70 2.8L for daily work. No problem focusing problem at all. Loving it.

its an amazing lens, even though its a 10 year old tech, its still my primary lens on assignment...i find it to be one of the sharpest zoom lens in my arsenal..

I have problem with the focusing on the 24-70 (bought last Oct).
Sent back to Canon to calibrate once and the problem still persists.
Will be sending back again together with my body to check on the problem depending on my schedule.
Btw, do Canon offer servicing on the camera body? Sorry for asking a question non-related to the thread.

I also read a lot of negative post ie. soft focus, back focusing, poor low light performance....
thinking of buying 1 this weekend....cant believe it is a poor glass when it is highly rated....
mayb different copy perform differently....
have to test kao kao before paying....n hope can get a good copy...cannot accept the disappointment if my 1st L lens has flaws....hehe

Bought mine second hand UY code - no problem so far... corners soft as expected (used with 5DMK2) ... not very sharp but sharp enough. Can actually do a lot works with 24-70 focal length mounted on FF
