wow....that crab was awesome!!! 100% crop in a nice outcome!
Hi Silky, may I know hows the sharpness of the 24mm f1.4 when focus is near infinity e.g. shooting at a office building that fills the frame, and zoom on the windows?
yeah... according to many reviews, the details are more in the darks and you are able to 'retrieve' it...Definitely a wonderful BEAST! You must be able to master your technical skill well ie: holding your camera right or else a minor shake at 100% it shows!

WOW.. very sharp. Are the pics above taken using 24/1.4?
No,,i am using D800E + 35mm F1.8 (DX lens,,in FX mode)
using single focus + auto (face detective tracking)
the first photo,,consider a blind shoot,,,just lay my body blind aim for the object,Nikon RGB face detective function look promising
second and third photo give you a very very dam good dynamic range,,,it cannt work on my D7000 at this scenario
superbfanstastic review of the D800E. any idea which ATM in Klang Valley well stocked up? Need some cash to buy camera.
Oooh, no....
instead of carrying a lot of cash to the shop, is it possible to pay by bank draft? Will the shop accept it?
how does this lens perform stopped down and like another member mentioned at infinity.
I am reading a mix bagged of results and opinions from this lens.
