I am a D90 user. You're better off with D3200 red colour body. Black is boring.
It's like this.... what's the reason u buy a dSLR? If is to take nice pictures.. then by all means go for D3200. It does the job well.
If you buy dSLR to learn to control exposure, fine tune white balance (D90 auto WB sucks), practice to set Apperture/shutter in seconds, ... then consider a D7000 (or D90 if can get a good deal).
Be very honest to yourself. Learning means getting tons of ****ty pictures before u can get to make a good one (sometimes i get lucky). But is satisfaction rewarded coz deep inside you, you know you got the damn settings and composition right!
