    GIANT Birds!

    Advertise here
    photomalaysia@gmail.com

During my recent birding trip I kept getting disturbance from some giants.

These are some of my shots to share here.

First 4 shots have birds in them. Last few shots, I've decided to shot the giants.

Have not seem much of these type of shots and do not know how to compose or make them more interesting.
Therefore, critic and comments are welcome. Better still, if you can provide some creative ideas I'll be interested to try them out.

I would like to respectfully correct you if I may, Bitty...the first picture is of a Cathay Pacific Airways Airbus A330-300, judging from the Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines and the green and red stripe with CX's brushwing logo on the side of the fuselage right under the cockpit windows. The rest of the aeroplanes were easy enough to identify the operating airline, except for the last one which I am unaware of.

    No problem Dualcard .
Good eyes, I've lost track what I shot anyway.
How about the rest of the ID's in my flickr site? Birds I'm still ok with their ID's, but iron birds... not very good.

The last 1 could be an Airasia in Caterham colours.

hmmm... wondering why the back tyres for most planes have a cover protecting it but the one you shot for MAS has the tyres clearly visible...

    You're doing plane spotting now?

    Gotta wait for the A380.

Planes get in the way of my birding. See most shots have birds in them...

    As for the A380.
Need a bit of planning and research to check when its flight is.
At that moment, it was parked next to the terminal.
A bit too far for the 50-200mm.

Bro, do not say teach lah... learn together better.
How large a bird are you looking for?
By the way, what is your glass of choice when birding?
Will try to help you select location to suit lens used.
