Pls post some constructive question. Your current question sound like , which one to get ? Altis or Camry ? Tell us more about your budget, what you trying to archive, what you shoot the most...spoon feeding won't work coz anyone that have the lens you mentioned they will just tell ' this a great lens, i never regret having it etc"....
Back to your question, if you talking about flexibility, 70-200 would be the one but in term of IQ 135mm F2 is above it...down site its too 'long' for cropbody
Up your budget a little and get a good copy of 2nd hand 70-200mm IS f2.8... Good for portrait as well...
Time is abstract... Time does not exist...
For me it depends on your current lenses setup, and the purpose of the lens.
Personally I won't buy a telephoto zoom without IS nowadays. You can't shoot handheld, or very difficult to use unless you bump up the shutter speed.
The 135mm lens is a very dedicated lens. On cropped sensor body, it will be TOO long for portrait. You will need so stand very far from your subject when shooting. Hence, for portrait, as zoom is much more convenient to shoot with.
Save up and get the 70-200mm F4 IS.

Sorry, I misread your is as "is" instead of "IS".

Yahooooo.....just order EF70-200mm F4 IS but (~_~)no stock have to wait after raya.....thanks for the suggestion
If using 5D3, can get F4 cause you can bump the iso a little higher than any other Canon DSLR (except 1D) so shooting with F4 at night is still possible.
why not get a used 70-200 F2.8 IS 1st version...pretty good at a decent price. I used this and all i can say the bokey and sharpness is very good. I used it on 40D.
Bro , I'm not enough budget (~_~)Originally Posted by canongogogo
