The Klang River separates the city physically and there seems to be a very distinct socio-economical difference between the Western bank and the more upmarket Eastern side. DBKL as the city administrator has been trying without success to redevelop the West Bank areas since the mid 80's.
Another very conclusive example of the imbalanced socio-economic structure of the city.

One of my favourinte buildings in Kuala Lumpur. I passed this building every day on the way to school in the early 70's. A well crafted architecture inspired by the influence of Le Corbusier.

Hail to the conservatives who had defended their believes in preserving some of the architectural treasures of Kuala Lumpur. They have managed to adopt moderisation without damaging the culture.

It was a good outing, haven't explored the area before. Thanks Eddie again.
Unfortunately, this is the only one I think worth sharing, a few more haven't been developed yet.
Thanks!
I've just collected my pictures in the afternoon and now I have the time to post it!
Some photos of historical buildings and people on the streets ;D

I enjoyed this photowalk very much, unfortunately it rained and didn't manage to finish the whole walk to masjid jamek. Made alot of good friends and manage to learn new stuffs from new friends ^_^
Would love to continue 1 day when I have the time! ;D

Despite the rain, resulting images are still pretty awesome and everyone seemed to have their fair share of fun. Small in numbers but abundant in fellowship. Would've joined in myself if I wasn't busy moving house. I need to avail myself for the next PM outing.
