doens't seem any cheaper than those on the mainland when i go there half a year ago. try to find tax-free lowepro but couldn't find

hahaha in langkawi only rokok, arak and kereta murah, the rest is sama je, best part seafood there is expensive

Langkawi is more for tourists...so expect to pay higher price...

Came back from Langkawi Mid Dec06. Don't waste your time looking for photo. Equip . Its not cheap, better get it on mainland, as for bags, hardly see any crumpler, tamprac and saw one Lowepro but expensive. Go enjoy yourselves with chocolates - very cheap, cheaper that KLIA. Go for the beach and seafood, I've got one recommendation good food with reasonable price. Address "Wonderland Food Store - Lot 179,180,181 Pusat Perniagaan Kelana Mas, Kuah town. Opens 7pm - 11.30pm". Both Muslims and non-Muslims goes there for seafood.

I just came back from Langkawi this afternoon. Photography equipment? Have a good laugh browsing the shops around Kuah town (near the duty free shops).

I did see 3 Lowepro bags in the camera shop at the cable car ground site. Didn't ask for price, so wouldn't know if there's a difference.
