Q: Zero Interest Installment Plan..

I bought something locally the other day using credit card, the site uses payment gateway at http://www.ipay88.com, fast and convenience... using local RM currency.

If shashinki could manage to utilize any payment gateway using local currency would be great ya.. I hate using cash when you can get points using Credit Card and can manage better at the end of the month with a proper statement... cash is liquid... sayang mau pakai selalu in one lump sum...

For every credit card transaction, shop will have to pay 3~5% extra to the credit card or middle processing company. There is no free lunch, shop will have to charge the amount back to the customer in order to survive, or you can put it in another way which is you don't get the extra 3-5% discount if you shop using credit card.

yepp... most probably.. but when I bought using ipay the other day.. d price for using cash & CC is the same so the shop could be absorbing the cost of the transactions...

Any update on the Zero Interest Installment Plan? I am interested to have this when purchase some camera equipments. I am aware there will be min extra charges of 4-5%, but it can help my cash flow remain healthy in short term.

Doc, I note now we can purchase on-line at Shashinki by paying via PayPal / Credit Card (in RM Currency - Malaysia Only). My questions are:-

a) Correct me if I am wrong, but does this mean we are buying PayPal Ringgits via charging our credit card (*); and

b) Does this avail us to the 0% instalment payment scheme?

Yes, you will be charged in RM to your credit card, the exact amount as shown at ShaShinKi during checkout.

No 0% installment payment scheme. This scheme is normally only with certain merchants and at a agreeable "overcharged" rate on the spot.
