Made from classic high quality aluminum alloy and precisely manufactured, Benro A-series tripods offer timeless strength, rigidity, durability and flexibility within an elegant but very functional design. Each leg section is extruded Aluminum with a wall thickness of 1.5 mm. Leg locking is secured using Benro’s patented tap lock bushing system.

Benro tripod is very similar to Gitzo design.

Gitzo is the "origin" of Benro, and Gitzo is the BEST tripod out there in my humble opinion. However, Gitzo tripod is also among the most expensive one out there.

Benro is a 99.9% copy of Gitzo. I don't know their relationship, most probably there is an agreement between these two companies, else Benro will not be able to showcase and sell their tripods in USA and Europe if copyright is infringemented. Benro has designed their tripod with some extra as compared to Gitzo (eg. 8 layers versus 6 layers CF in Gitzo) is a very good value for money tripod and definitely one of the best out there.

if u guys were looking for tripod, try to look for the benro website

telling gear may not tell wat tripod is suitable for you, it depend on ur gear weight say camera + lens + flash (count the heaviest u have) and choose the correct measurement of support weight in tripod and head range

There is no ONE tripod for all. Personally I would prefer to have at least TWO tripods. One that is compact and lightweight for traveling, one that is heavier for normal local use.
