Is there a Sigma Malaysia Service Center?

All I can find is Sigma distributor:

Hmm...also...wonder if we can buy Sigma lens cheaper from outside if we buy direct from this company?

yeah! that's the so call service center ! i when there two weeks ago to send my sigma lens for repair ( will pick up the lens next week ) ! it's on the 3rd floor on top of a foot massage center !

p/s :- you can buy there ! cash purchases only ! sale recommended retail price only ! if sale discount price all camera shop will closed shop !

Distributor will never sell at dealers' discount price. They will be boycotted if they are found out. So they don't do that.

Is there any DOA period for Sigma lens?
Just bought Sigma APO 70-300mm DG Macro on 1st May and the lens give up on 4th May, 2009.

Will try that and see what is the feedback from the photo shop. Lens give up after 4 days of purchase. Is Sigma lens mechanism is not that good or I'm just plain bad luck getting those faulty lens.

so far I have drop a sigma before and trust me sigma is quite solid

Maybe just my luck isn't that good, SIgma is produce in Japan and it should be solid I think due to it tight QC and so on.
Anyway I just went back to the shop and they replace a new unit to me without asking much questions after I show them where is the faulty part. Good service !!

I dropped by APD this afternoon to service my 24-70mm and 70-300mm. I am mighty pleased with the attention given by the technician. Had a good time with Mr Eugene, showing (poisoning) me with a barrack of Sigma EX f/2.8 lens.

sound good... i have just bought 70-200 f2.8 and its front focus.. need to find time to go there... hopefully a 1 to 1 replacement... (so that i don't have to travel from kedah to pick it up later,...)

It's not a shop, it's an operating office and service centre at 3rd floor.

I only know hw to go to the Curve...is it far to walk there from the Curve? Possible or not? I am going by public transportation.
