This is the kind of 'Malaysia Boleh!' that I'm talking about..
Dr Teh, I'm so proud of you. I could not believe it when I first read this thread. I've said before that your portraits are my benchmark and now all of us have a chance to learn the techniques from the guru himself...
I've bought books from the internet on photography and may I say that your portraits are up there with the best...some of yours, even better...
Thank you for being so magnanimous in sharing your knowledge and sacrificing your time to write this book..
I'm just waiting to order my copy and may I be audacious enough to request you to autograph it...it will be treasured..
You're da man.....its about time a Malaysian photographer does something like this...
    and next.... Tuan Haji DA...??

Re: Portraiture Post Processing for Beginners

I had attended several of Manuel Labrodo's workshop in Malaysia, arranged by Dr Teh. Though the model shoot itself is clear and easy to learn, the post processing that follow in the afternoon sessions are very difficult to follow. Especially for non savvy IT person like me. It has been a struggle to learn the techniques let alone master it like what Dr Teh has been able to achieve. The tricky part for me when trying to do the processing at home after taking pages and pages of notes in the class, I find it very difficult to recollect and find the actual page in photoshop that I need to do that step.

I had the good fortune to review the first cut of Dr Teh's eBook and I was really impressed. What makes it very simple for me and for others who buy this book is the steps are illustrated by using the images from the photoshop pages as you would see when you are on that particular stem. It's so user friendly that even with limited photoshop skill you can follow the steps and master the skill in no time at all. Now you can add another dimension to your portraits by using Dr Teh's e Book.

Well done Doc, you've launched something that most of us here needs!

Writing and publishing a book(or e-book) was never an easy task and in most cases, the reward does not justify the effort. Kudos to your achievement and congratulations to a dream come true.
