BAD EXPERIENCE in FOTO SELANGOR !!
To all fellow photo enthusiast, be careful when dealing with Foto Selangor.

i went to buy a dSLR from Foto Selangor on Chrismas Day (25 Dec. 2007) and the package Johnny (qouted in forum: friendly sales person) quoted comes with a FREE 2Gb memory card (Pendrive and NOT Sandisk).

i asked for an extra card of Sandisk 2Gb and some other stuff. deal done and went home feeling contented.

a few days later (29 Dec.) when i am ready to shoot, i realized that the FREE 2Gb Pendrive card is NOT THERE !

i went back to Foto Selangor (30 Dec.) and looked for Johnny to ask for my free memory card.
he remembers me and said that i need to buy something else from the shop in order for him to give me the free card, reason being is that he cannot issue me a receipt is i didn't purchase anything.
he also started giving stupid excuses i.e. i only come back few days later, if he give me the free card they will lose money and other BS.
after long argument with him, reluctantly he gave me the memory card.

bloody chinaman-business mentality. i bought my first PnS digital camera there and now my dSLR. will NEVER go back there again. their price is not that cheap after all.

there question here is their business ethics, i don't think that is the right way to treat a customer, to force them to buy something else before giving the free goods promised earlier.

Can anyone point me to the direction of Keat Camera @ Pudu.??
I only know the general area so can anybody give specific directions?

Hi hazmy,

How will you be travelling to KL first of all? Keat Camera is easy to be located. If you are at the traffic junction where Pudu Jail is on your right, Times Square in front of you (this should be Jalan Hang Tuah), turn right at the traffic light which leads you to Jalan Pudu. Keat Camera will be 2 minutes drive on your right.

Refer to the map below, is before the jalan pasar junction.

BTW I'll be travelling by bus and staying around the puduraya area..
Mst probably I'll be walking there as it's quite near.. maybe by LRT to Hang Tuah Station than walk from there... depends on weather lah..

nowadays shopkeepers are very lansi. they only work there and dont own the business, so they are very impatient and cant be bothered with you if you ask a few more questions. they just walk away and do their own thing. I bought 2 pns from Shangri-la in Ikano, now IPC. that time a mid age lady served me and was nice enough, that's why I bought even thogh i can get cheaper in another shop but a bit far away. then when I was looking for the lumix fz35, i went back there to give them more business, but there was this young punk there, either Mynamar or Pino, so bloody aksi, I never step near the shop again. In the end I go far far away and bought from a nice old man in BB Plaza. Lucky I bought from him first before the wife came back. Else I wont buy also. poor old man - Queen control, the wife was so bossy and boastful, ordering the old man around and shouting orders at him. Haiya, if I got wife like that, I long time give her 2 tight slap and dump her oredi. hehehe, just to share some bad experiences with lansi shopkeepers.

anybody have any experience with D' Classic at Amcorp Mall. A friend said they have very good pricing.
