Erm.. I'll try to explain the best I can...
certain canon EOS bodies such as the 50D have this function called "AF Micro Adjustment".
Basically with this function, you are able to adjust the AF of every individual lens that you have. This function is to fix front/back focus issues.
I figured that my lens was having some front/back focus issue (apparently most Tamrons do), so.. I took some time to make a few test shots, adjusting the AF bit by bit, until it was dead centered (to me at least..lol)
This solved my focusing problem (lens wouldn't focus eventhough there was a focus confirmation beep)
Actually.. I also cleaned the contacts on the lens mount. MAYBE that solved my AF issue...
In low-light however.. it still hunts..which is normal for this lens.
