few years back I sent an old 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 for fungus clearing.
Nikon said cannot clean, must change the element, cost a fortune. might as well buy new one.
try my luck with this old dark photo shop in town.
the uncle there clear it for about rm150 if remembered correctly, been good since then.
