    hi guys, if anyone in Penang bought the VC version & doesn't have non-VC version (well... who would want to have both X D) & is interested to do some side-by-side comparison tests, I will be very glad to sponsor (because also want to know exactly what improvements to expect from the new version hehe, especially bokeh wise )

    Canon mount anyway, thanks

    you can join our regular TT normaly by LM, members have both..try it..

    So 17-50 non-VC has sharper image comparing to 17-50 VC?

    Not to my experience and I've used both. The VC doesn't lose in sharpness at all although I can't do side by side comparison because I've sold my non-VC.

    if this lens compare to new 18-55 kits, which one better in term of sharpness and color accurate

    I was thinking of buying body with tamron instead of the canon kit

    Non VC gives slightly sharper image than VC, but if you hv a v powerful body you can go for non vc...save more $
