I would say it is as good as the Nissin Di622! All YN46X series (except YN460MK2) has GN of 33m @ 35mm ISO100, whilst Di622 has GN 32m @ 35mm ISO100 (GN 44m @105mm). A fair contender to Di622 would be YN468, with, E-TTL, zoom head (can be manually set; It looses to Di622 here with zoom of 24-105mm), optical trigger, 8 stop manual power adjustment & LCD display. These feature are on par with Di622 (in some aspect better, YN468 has LCD!) Also, YongNuo flash is compatible with almost all common wireless trigger (no mod or firmware update needed..)
