I agree with maxby.

Good work.

Dont spank yourself. If anybody feels the same way, PM me or Maxby, and we'll put you at the top of the queue for the next time when we can pull Azrul out from his busy schedule to hold another masterclass. We feel sure Shriro-Hasselblad and Profoto-Lastolite will probably be quite willing to co sponsor at least another two more Azrul Experiences this year. And maybe we can even do one especially for people who love shooting with Ilford, and their vintage Swedish GFs. You can use the H4D40, H4D50 or maybe even the H4D60 as your Polaroid preview cameras.....

Now that would be the ultimate in cross poisoning, eh...Jason ???

nice work guys! Personally I think those pics from Jayudan deserve a special mention as they are not your usual run of the mill pictures. The photographer is evidently very clear in what he/she wants as the final image as it is definitely not easy to control the lighting. Looks like Azrul is an excellent teacher.
Keep up the good work everyone!

Thanks dumbdumb, I agree with you that Azrul is an excellent teacher, I have learned so much in his class.
what I'm trying to do is to merge my art with my photography, I have only taken up photography recently, although I have been painting for a long time.

Re: Shriro-PMPE Portraiture and Studio Lighting Workshop by Azrul K. Abdullah

Im glad to see some of the work that came out of the workshop. As I mentioned; I like seeing original work; something different, unique, different if not totally mind-boggling. Portraits aren't about copycat-lighting.

Once the PMPE team are back from Bangladesh, I'm looking forward to having a critique session at the studio to review all the images we had from that day.

I was really looking forward to this workshop by Azrul...but gotta to work on that day.

There are many good portraits there, however there are two I like most .... June's first picture and of course the Masta's portrait of the model.
