K10D in PC Fair
Does anyone know whether K10D will be displayed over PC Fair this weekend?

played with it already at the fair...very responsive...good ergonomics...rm3400 for body...next week for stocks...

da70...no sample...rm1800...again next week...

dwrk, you tried the k10d?

I see nothing but K100D and a few other P&S there only...

was there to try out k10d and other lens as well.. but I don't see any!

pentax booth...kept behind glass...no other lenses...

things i didn't like...focus point selector ring...difficult to change from center to selection to auto...then again...i only use centre so no issue for me...and some buttons are smaller and difficult to press in a hurry...and not protude enough...if you wear glove in winter sure kena...

just my 2 sens...

Juz came back from PC Fair. Tried the k10d. The rubber grip is not like their k100d (the k100d has screw on it, solving the peeling off problem of early *ist). So I have feelings the rubber grip will peel off in the future.

The k10d, if the dust remover is turned on, everytime you start the camera, you feel some vibration + sound. Quite irritating if you ask me.

But overall it is a very nice camera, compared with the other models that I had tried a little while ago...

Not too bad....being a 10MP and some other advanced gadgets including dust & water resistant sealings. Looking forward to users hands-on evaluation comments ...

Apparently Shriro is out of stock for now. I went to shriro today to hand in my K100D for CCD cleaning, and wanted to see the K10D but the girl said "all the stock that arrived had been shipped out and everyone is looking for that camera."

Nope she didnt mention, and I couldnt ask further as I was with my dad and he was furious that I am enquiring about the K10D since I just got the K100D...LOL.

I will check them out when I collect my camera back from them. BTW, I saw them having a FAJ 75-300mm on display for RM 560...is that for display only or for sale?

That FAJ is not in production anymore, maybe for display only.. ask them

How long does it take for them to clean the CCD?
