Re: K10d

THis is a picture by my Sabah friend Rabani. He's a nature/jungle photographer and he's the first one that introduced me to K10D. He tested the camera and gear for 6 days in condition of drizzle in the jungle and it passed the test. I saw his photos and I was impressed. Here's what has happened to his K10D beofre.

Bani, I hope you don't mind.

Wonderful, that's how K10D should be used. If Shriro use shots like this in their ads, I'm sure more people will be join the Pentax family.

Re: K10d

So DA 16-45 is weatherproof. Is the 18-55 and 50-200 also weatherproof?

Only the DA* lens weatherproof, DA lens is not. I really surprise to know Rabani used the DA lens for advanture photography. But after see these images, I'm really confident about DA lens built quality.

Re: K10d

lens elements usually is sealed in barrel even it not a weathersealled type, and the electric connector is use for data exchange which is no effect with water since is use only very little electricity. so, use it and enjoy, don't worried too much.
