Langkawi Animals II
Got back from Langkawi, AGAIN! This time, curi-curi masa to take some shots of the wildlife, while taking a group of tour guides around.

Draco taeniopterus male at Tasik Langgun, Langkawi


Halcyon amauroptera - Brown-winged Kingfisher at Sg.Kilim. Lame attempt at bird photography...but this bird is special to let go. It's endemic i.e. can only be found in Langkawi and no where else in the world.


Maidenveil Fungus on trail to Tasik Langgun


Slug (shelless mollusc)


Smooth otter, Lutra perspicillata. Three individuals were seen from the platform at the end of the boardwalk at Tasik Dayang Bunting. Used the kit lens Nikkor 18-70 mm. Tak sempat tukar 300 mm...


Trachypithecus obscurus Dusky leaf monkey on a Xylocarpus granatum tree (Nyireh Bunga) at Kilim.

Wish I had a more natural setting instead of the cable. Just go to the Kilim jetty lah! It's there all the time!!!

I went to catch this bird on 1-9-07, but no luck.

Aiseh sori this time not under my budgetlah, under invitation. Kalau tidak sure bawak nye. Dont worry we got plenty time and money to go next time. Wei I need ur flight ticket and we need to prepare Hulu Terengganu trip 17-26 Sep.
