Dear Brothers/Sisters - please promote our own country....

In the first week of February 2008 I travelled some 1500++km [approx. 1000mi] around Banjaran Titiwangsa [the Main Range of Peninsular Malaysia] to see the beautiful and natural landscape of this blessed country- away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a week. Drove up to highlands for cool and fresh mountain airs ...




The tour was about discovering the remaining beauty of my own country, wonderful Malaysia...








Even today that I am back in Klang Valley, I could feel the refreshing mountain airs and 'see' in my heart the early morning hillscape of the Banjaran Titiwangsa.


If there is still times amidst the hustle-bustle of Klang Valley, I wish I were standing again on Main Range looking down the valley...

Beautiful! You've done very well, the details in the landscapes are great. What lens did you use?

But I would suggest that next time separate the close-ups and the landscapes because they're from different categories and make your set much nicer to appreciate.

Thanks brother,
I was using E-500 with bundled lens 40~150mm f3.5/4.5 "mk1" , 14~45mm f3.5/5.6 "mk1" and 35mm f3.5 macro.

with exactly the same equipment as kerengge i went to the same mountain range during the same period. well, 90% of my shots came from the 35mm.

SERAMBI TAMAN NEGARA - Northern Corridor of National Park
Northern part of TAMAN NEGARA is now accessable by Trengganu State Road T156, which is as good if not better than most Federal Trunk Roads. Certain stretch of this road is on par with Karak H/W with four-lane [double carriage]. Unfortunately for those who drive from Kelantan side , will be frustrated for the first 30minutes drive on T156 with the road condition on SERAMBI MEKOH side! Once crossed the state border the situation changed immediately. I would say it is the best State road as of today.


Probably the mountain in the foreground is Gunung Tahan...not sure.

Not to forget Asia's Largest man made 'sea' at one corner of the National Park, Tasik Kenyir with 340 Islands!
