Envy magazine

These days, I hardly browse, what's more even buy, magazines from the newsstand. The local magazines contain contents that are unsatisfactory while the imported magazines are too expensive to justify the buy. So, imagine my surprise when I saw this magazine at the newsstand. On the cover of "envy magazine" is of a female with her mouth taped with a "X" and a title "they can't censor the gleam in my eye" at the side. Flipping through it, the content caught my attention. I didn't think twice to pay RM7 for it and certainly wasn't disappointed. Despite being a fashion magazine, the photography and art in it is really interesting. I even spent time looking through the colourful ads, especially the ones by Royal Sporting House. The articles written are of a different perspective too (T-shirts as social status?). I highly recommend pm-er to buy it or at least browse through it. Studio portraitures should look like what is inside the magazine, not your everyday typical boring postures we get all the time. Now that's what I call creativity.
Wonder when will issue #2 come out.

Hmm...I am also wondering is the magazine's photographer part of PM?

Re: Envy magazine

From time to time (not every month lah), I buy fashion magazines (typically Cleo) to study product shooting, the way photogs pose their models, lighting placement and such.

And I got these comments:
Comments from the friends: "we didn't know you're an ah kua".
Comment from the wife "you buy for me or for your mistress???"
Comment from the boss: "I need a real female as my PA. Not an impersonator!"

Re: Envy magazine

The front of the cover got write "for women( and certain men)"

Sides, the product shoot isn't the point. The fashion/art is...

Re: Envy magazine

I'll check it out.

After reading paklan's comments, my suspicions have grown stronger. First the love for flowers and now by his own confession, ladies fashion magazines!
