The camera is still "new" so dealers will not give 'cut prices' yet. If you want it 'cheap' you'll have to wait for another 3 months or so.

But if you want it now, go to J One Camera in Amcorp Mall. PJ. Jason (the owner) gives very fair prices.

I just called J One , a lady answered ..... no stock , must wait till next week....

I got mine at Sungai Wang.. walk around and you'll find a shop that has stock. Price is 8.5k and don't let him fool you, it's the same price all over KL.

At rm8500.00 , surely they are still making money, no one press on for another rm50.00 off to rm8450.00 or something ? With extra 50 to 100 bucks you could invest an extra battery or something.
Never accept the 1st price offer....

looking at current economy and photo industry (with more FF cam), i think should just hold the horse 1st, it's just like d70 launch few years back... remember one time d70 body was more than 3.5k! tis d700 at least have 1000 to drop...

The list price of 5DII is US2699, cheaper than the D700. Will the 5DII cause the price drop of D700?
