Warong Nasi Briyani Tajudin

Nasi Briyani is the rice that fried gently in ghee or vegetable oil, together with some spices and herbs such as cinnamon, pandan leaves, ginger, and garlic. Then steamed the rice in a stock made from chicken or mutton bones, together with portions of chicken or mutton.

So it come out fragrant spiced rice with meats. Then serve the rice with curry, Rendang and salad.

A friend had tipped me off about the nasi briyani at Lorong Bandar 13 in Kuala Lumpur's city centre. Lorong Bandar 13 is located off Lebuh Pasar Besar. And, it will not be difficult to locate the nasi briyani stalls because they are located off Lebuh Pudu. The first thing you will notice is a fruit stall and then you will quickly recognise the makan places that are neatly lined up in a row. It open from Monday to Saturday...

But frankly its not a cozy place to have your lunch (because it is crowded with patrons). I decided to tapau this famous Nasi Briyani and with RM5.00, i got myself a wicked Fried Chicken Nasi Briyani. I made a few shots and went to Lake Garden to have my lunch (darn! it was great). Darn! Before i forget, If you want to tapau this Nasi Briyani better make a call 1st to order your stuff, otherwise you have to line up and trust me it is a long que...

Yup...RM5 for the nasi + lauk....ehhehehe... so syiok la film nih uncle noord... even the F3 metering not working so well...this is the only way sarip can use FF
