Nope. This ain't the eclipse of the moon (or sun). This photo was usually a shot of a crescent moon taken at slow shutter speed. The wind was a little strong that time and the clouds were moving (which is why the clouds are blurred out). Since this shot was taken in the early morning, the circle shape of the moon can be slightly seen with the naked eye. So when using a shutter speed of 5s, the circle shape of the moon can be fully seen and the light from the crescent shape is absorbed.
