This is one of my favorite shot from all the shots I've taken at Mengkuang Dam. This shot was inspired by a pro. photographer, David Clapp, in one of the issues of Digital Camera Magazine (Although mine isn't as nice as his) Instead of focusing on the background (the island), I've focused my camera on the rocks which can be seen under the water. I've also closed my aperture to a value of F8 so that the background is not too soft (or blur). Since my aperture value is high (F, my shutter speed has to be set at 1/30s. This shot is also post processed with Photoshop CS2. I've created two different JPEG files of it, one which emphasize the rocks under the water & the other on the island & it's reflections. I've then merged them together to create this photo.
