The background is distracting. I darkened and converted the background to BW. Do you think it is unnatural?

Try redoing your photoshop work on the background, paying special attention to make it look natural and non-distracting.

I think you captured her very well.

Her expression is one of cherishing the moment of her wedding, and the red cloth gave a good frame to the picture.

i do think you should have kept the background and not convert it to BW. it may add to the mood of the overall picture. i mean since you put her to the extreme left of the picture, you obviously want us to see the background! then again i can't judge whether it is distracting or not.

I wished the background can help with the mood of the bride. The photoshoping work is a fast and sloppy job. I will do it nicely when I have the time. I personally like this image very much.

i like the look on her eyes! it's like she can see their(bride and groom) future and she's pleased with it
