The composition of this image is planned in order to maintain the form and shape of this spider. Taking advantage of backligting and with the help of fill-in flash enable me to create a luminance effects of this subject. Basic exposure taken handheld with Sekonic exposure meter.

i like ur photo on the 1st'06 DCM's shot-of-the-month as ur stuff has appeared. congrats, en. sharkawi!; that one, the background (bukeh) is completely in one color contra with the subject. green and red. very simple yet so catchy. no wonder it's been the shot of the month anyway!
