Disturbing background with large blobs of highlight diverting viewer's attention. White balance is off as can be seen from the color of the feather. Sharpness is also suspected. The "posture" or setting is also unimaginative.

Concurs with rainfinder on the large blobs of whites in the background and sharpness. Maybe you can try cloning off de white blobs and sharpen the bird.
